March for International Women's Day
Come along with Restless Beings on Thursday 8 March 2012 and stand in solidarity with women across the globe with Women for Women International's Join me on the Bridge Campaign 2012!
For International Women’s Day on Thursday 8 March 2012, Restless Beings is marching across Millennium Bridge in London in solidarity with Women for Women International’s Join me on the Bridge Campaign. Women, children and men marching across the world will call for an end to violence against women in areas of conflict and for women to have an equal right in decision making processes. Last year, over 75,000 people took part in 474 events across the globe. Check out the highlights from 2011 in this clip.
After our successful Ala Kachuu (bride kidnapping) campaign on Valentine’s Day, this is a great opportunity for Restless Beings and its supporters to march in solidarity with women across the world facing injustices. We want you take part with us on the London March across Millennium Bridge on Thursday morning and do what Restless Beings does best: voice the voiceless!
