EchoShip

To make the most of the last available late-night-followed-by-long-lie-in combo of the Bank Holiday weekend, Restless Beings held it's third year anniversary shindig – Echoship - on Sunday 1st May (the date was a good reason too). The ship was full to capacity as 400 guests filed on board for the evening's entertainment. Some fantastic and very generous jazz and spoken word artists performed to this formally attired crowd to celebrate Restless Beings's good work and to acknowledge the universal importance of human rights, a cause the charity works tirelessly to promote. Sharply dressed revellers danced late into the evening aboard Embankment's HMS President, which hosted the 1920s themed event.

Cherry Lee

A supporter of Restless Beings, since its disposition, Cherry Lee aka The Bathroom Girl is a featured YouTube star and is exploding on the online scene. A rising unsigned UK solo artist, her sweet gut warming heart softening tones and strumming is touching fans on an international scale. This fresh take on soul/acoustic patterns of music is one not to miss!

Los Calendarios

Los Calendarios is a Latin Soul Collective formed and based in London. Formed by Domingo Candelario, Luis Floiran Bravo Correa and Lya Reis Guerrero. The band’s blend of mambo and pop tinged with Latin jazz will make even the most senile old man smile and get a their salsa on. Watch out for their ultra-catchy tunes and infectious rhythms.

Mike & Khadim

After hearing Khadim sing in 2008, Mike felt compelled to befriend Khadim and form a musical friendship. The result led to their first album entitled "one". Mike Sajic & Khadim Sarr’s take on contemporary world fusion music is special beyond measure! Consisting of a sonic mish mash of instrumentation, melody and rhythm, influenced by music form across the globe.

Empty White Circles

Empty White Circles is a 5-piece Americana/Folk band originally formed by American born brothers Kevin and Sean Duggan. Now based in Oxford, the band was completed by the arrival of childhood friend Dave Royston and British members Calum To and Ricky Eastwood. With close harmonies, infectious guitar riffs and toe tapping rhythms, Empty White Circles offers Americana with a twist, plenty of volume and more pop-hooks than you could shake a stick at.
