Restless Beings

Restless Beings will be speaking at a number of academic events at universities and institutes across the USA and UK in February.

We will be speaking at conferences in University of California, Berkeley as well as New York University. Additionally, whilst in the USA, Restless Beings Directors will address the US Congress in Washington DC.

Kicking off with a seminar at London School of Economics, our UK leg of the academic tour will see us visit Sussex University, UCL, Westminster University, SOAS, Queen Mary University and University of York. This section will focus on the comparison of the Rohingya citizenship denial in Burma and the National Register of Citizens and the consequential citizenship crisis that has ensued in Assam and across India via the BJP's controversial Citizenship Ammendment Act.

Join us across various universities this February at lectures, seminars, conferences and roundtables as we continue to address the human rights violations and denial of citizenship of the Rohingya of Burma and those affected in Assam, India.
